Team Diabetes will be travelling to Costa Rica in May 2011 for their inaugural hike in Rincon de la Vieja National Park in support of the Canadian Diabetes Association! Team members will explore one of the most biologically diverse places on earth with a local naturalist guide who will provide in-depth information about the natural history and local culture. This won’t be just any walk in the park though so we provide you with training and fundraising support to ensure you are ready to meet the challenge.

Your commitment and dedication will strengthen the fundraising efforts of the Canadian Diabetes Association as we strive to provide world-class research, outstanding outreach programs and valuable services to people living with diabetes. In return for your fundraising efforts, you will receive amazing benefits including:

• 4 nights accommodation in Costa Rica
• Return flight from Vancouver
• One day, guided hike on both an extinct and live volcano
• Personalized fundraising webpage, materials and support
• On-line training program

The deadline for all representative entries is August 19th. A panel will review all entries and the official team rep will be announced by September 8th.
